What are the benefits from Pilates?

Movement through Stability

A full body exercise for men and women who have bone and muscle restriction in their hands and knees, back and neck, may also have osteopenia, osteoperosis and have difficulty weight bear on hands and knees. Through the class there is mindfulness of our posture in a relax environment. By developing the core strength, balance, and coordination using own body weight, bands, small apparatus equipment whilst standing, sitting and floor mat exercises.

What to Bring

Small hand towel for head cushion, water bottle and wear comfortable clothing. There are some mats available first come first serve basis and if require a thicker one, I suggest you bring your own.

Ensure the Class is Appropriate for You

Pilates is very beneficial however if you are pregnant or had just given birth and or any other serious condition please contact Sally to ensure the class is appropriate for you. Prior to commencement, you will be required to complete a health disclaimer and Sally may recommend you seek further doctors approval.
